DRIVER SIDE SRS AIRBAGS
Dual SRS front air bags as standard equipment protect the driver and front passenger in the event of a frontal collision. Air bags inflate immediately when air bag sensors detect that a significant frontal impact is occurring, helping reduce the driver's and front passenger's risk of injury during certain frontal collisions. PASSENGER SIDE SRS AIRBAGS
Keep your passenger safe with the passenger side airbag system, which should always be used in conjunction with a seat belt. Unlike some competitive systems, Nissan's air bag system, includes a capacitor that is designed to power the air bag system in a crash if the battery fails before air bag deployment occurs.
CRUMPLE ZONE BODY CONSTRUCTION
Zones built on the each end of the vehicle allow for a crushable area incase of an impact. Front and rear crumple zones absorb impact energy, helping to reduce the risk of injury to passengers by helping to maintain passenger compartment structural integrity.
HIGH STRENGTH LADDER FRAME
Built on a sturdy ladder frame the Pickup can withstand a hefty blow. Rock solid ladder frame chassis providing strength and support. The entire length of the frame rails is box-sectioned, meaning the frame rails are enclosed on all four sides to provide added strength for heavy-duty use and reduce noise and vibration.
